The Pony Keg is a mobile bartending service in Humboldt County, California. Our bar is a 1974 horse trailer that we converted into a bar on wheels for any event. The Pony Keg does all the work for you. We provide the bar, booze recommendations, bartending staff, draft system, glassware, decor, accessories, and all the miscellaneous equipment you never thought of.
Our Bartenders
The Pony Keg Mobile Bar carries liquor liability and general liability insurance. Our bartenders are all ABC and ServSafe certified. They are Humboldt booze enthusiasts who know the ins and outs of the local beer, wine and spirits of the area! Plus, they are super fun.

We provide the bar, signature cocktails (or mocktails), one on one consultations, bartending staff, draft system, glassware, decor, accessories, and all the misc. equipment you never thought of.
Beautiful Humboldt County! But the cool thing about a mobile bar is we can go just about anywhere our hearts desire.

No, we do not. We are a "dry hire" bar. Due to the state of California's alcohol laws The Pony Keg cannot provide or sell you alcohol.
ABC Regulation # 23399.1:
“When license or permit not required for serving and otherwise disposing of alcoholic beverages. No license or permit shall be required for the serving and otherwise disposing of alcoholic beverages where all of the following conditions prevail:
1. That there is no sale of an alcoholic beverage.
2. That the premises are not open to the general public during the time alcoholic beverages are served, consumed or otherwise disposed of.
3. That the premises are not maintained for the purpose of keeping, serving, consuming or otherwise disposing of alcoholic beverages.”
We serve alcohol that is supplied by the event organizer or a third party. However, we do calculate the amount of alcohol based on hours of service and how many guests you expect and connect you up with local distributors. This usually saves you a ton of money!
The Pony Keg trailer is 12 ft long and 7 ft 6 inches tall.

At this point you confirmed the event date with us so just let us know you are ready, and we will send over a contract and an invoice. For the deposit, we accept check, cash or online payments.
We only offer glassware for parties under 50. We provide aesthetically pleasing, strong and compostable cups!
